Landscapes While landscape hasn't been a subject of many of my paintings, like most people, water, especially the ocean, has a magical quality for me. At the Shore was inspired by happy memories of summer holidays with my husband Dave at Wildwood on the Jersey Shore. In On the Riverbank I was trying to express the pulsating quality of the hills and water.
